Calling all Knights
On September 6, 2008, there is a need for help to assist with cooking and clean up chores at the SJA cafeteria. The event is a spaghetti lunch for 50 to 100 attendees. Plan to arrive before 11:00am and leave somewhere after 2:00pm following clean up.
Just a reminder
All attendees are reminded of the dress code for Council events. Formal attire (shirt, tie and coat) is appropriate for all degree ceremonies and state events. Council attire (council shirts and jerseys) are considered appropriate for business meetings. Social meetings are casual dress or council attire unless other specifically stated.
Prevent ID Theft
Mark your calendars. The social meeting on
August 26, 2008 will focus on prevention of identity theft. A guest speaker from the Sheriffs department will conduct an interesting and informative presentation on this very timely topic.
Assembly meeting at SJA
Our council will host the Fr. Habets Assembly September (09/24/2008) meeting. If you are a fourth degree knight, be sure to attend this event at our own location.
Special Olympics
Mark your calendars for November 1 and 2, 2008. The Special Olympics are upon us again. PGK Mel Pritchard asks all brother Knights to chip in and help with the events at this worthy cause. Give it a try you'll like it. "
